Cyprus Minister of Health honors bone marrow volunteer donors

On the evening of Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the Minister of Health of Cyprus, Neofytos Charalampidis, held an event to honor the volunteer bone marrow donors registered with the Karaiskakio Foundation. During the ceremony, the Minister praised the selfless commitment of those who have agreed to undergo the donation process to assist patients they do not know, emphasizing the life-saving potential of their contribution.

It was announced during the event that the Karaiskakio Foundation’s registry now includes over 200,000 Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot volunteers.
