Temporary suspension of Cypriot government digital services

Cypriot government digital services will face a temporary shutdown from Friday, September 25, 2026, at 17:00, until Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 18:00. This disruption is due to scheduled infrastructure maintenance and technical upgrades performed by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy.

The maintenance work specifically targets essential system mechanisms, including CY Login, CY Notify, CY Connect, CY Pay, CY Sign, and the Core Gateway (Ariadni). Consequently, all state services that rely on these authentication and connection platforms will be inaccessible during this period. The Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance has confirmed that its internal systems—including the SISNet contribution payment system, public employment applications, and grant management platforms—are among those that will be offline.

Authorities advise citizens to complete any urgent digital transactions before the maintenance begins to avoid potential complications. These upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to improve the national digital infrastructure. Full service availability is expected to resume by the evening of September 26, once the technical upgrades are successfully completed.
