Weather update for Cyprus through the weekend

Cyprus is experiencing a period of stable and mostly clear weather following localized rain showers in the mountains, inland, and southeastern regions on Thursday. Temperatures across the island remain consistent, with daytime highs reaching 31 degrees Celsius inland and on the south and east coasts, 29 degrees Celsius on the remaining coasts, and 22 degrees Celsius in mountainous areas. Overnight temperatures are forecast to drop to 18 degrees Celsius inland, 20 degrees Celsius along the coastlines, and 12 degrees Celsius in the mountains.

While conditions remain largely clear through Saturday, the forecast indicates a shift starting Sunday and continuing into Monday. Increased cloud cover is expected to develop, with meteorologists not ruling out the possibility of isolated storms. Despite the atmospheric changes anticipated early next week, temperatures are expected to remain stable throughout the weekend period.
