President Christodoulides holds meetings in New York to strengthen international relations

Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides is continuing his series of high-level diplomatic contacts in New York this Friday. His agenda includes a meeting with the Vice President of the People's Republic of China, Han Zheng, scheduled for 17:30 Cyprus time, followed an hour later by a meeting with the leadership of the American Jewish Committee (AJC). The President's program also includes a dinner hosted in his honor by Cypriot diaspora organizations in the United States, set for 01:30 Cyprus time.

In addition to these meetings, President Christodoulides gave an interview to Breitbart News. According to government spokesperson Konstantinos Letympiotis, the discussion focused on the strategic upgrade of relations between Cyprus and the United States, the expansion of cooperation in areas of common interest, and the role of the Republic of Cyprus as an increasingly significant pillar of stability in the Eastern Mediterranean region. The outreach highlights ongoing efforts to solidify Cyprus's geopolitical standing and address regional security concerns through broader international engagement.
