Traffic adjustments announced for cycling festival in Nicosia

A cycling festival is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in the area of Agia Marina Xyliatou in Nicosia. During the event, numerous cyclists will be traveling along the local road network throughout the morning.

While the roads will remain open to the public, the Cyprus Police have announced that they will implement local traffic management measures to ensure safety during the periods when cyclists are on the road. Officers will be stationed in the area to direct traffic as needed.

The police have issued a formal recommendation for both motorists and cyclists to exercise increased caution.
