Premiere of the Greek television series Camping: Allos Kosmos on Alpha

The Greek adaptation of the television series 'Camping: Allos Kosmos' (Camping: Another World) is scheduled to premiere on Alpha Cyprus on Sunday, October 4, at 22:00. The series, based on the original Cypriot production created by Fotis Georgidis, will debut with a double episode. The story follows Iordanis Yalamas, played by Odysseas Papaspiliopoulos, a quiet and downtrodden accountant who experiences a mental breakdown. Tired of being a victim of workplace abuse and financial strain following his wife's abandonment, he decides to revolt by stealing 600,000 euros and fleeing with his two children to a remote campsite near Athens.

Upon arrival, Yalamas discovers that his new residence is a dilapidated trailer within a community of eccentric inhabitants. The situation is complicated by the campsite’s unpredictable owner, Sophocles, and the fact that Iordanis's former supervisor is actively tracking his trail. The plot blends comedy with mystery as the protagonist attempts to hide his past and his stolen money within a setting characterized by summer lethargy and hidden secrets. The series explores themes of identity, escape, and the consequences of sudden life-altering decisions.
