Paralimni-Deryneia residents report high satisfaction with municipal services

A survey conducted in September 2026 by RAI Consultants indicates high levels of resident satisfaction with the services and administration of the recently formed Municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia. The study evaluated public sentiment regarding municipal operations, regional development, and local priorities, revealing a significant level of public trust in the new administrative structure.

According to the findings, the majority of residents approve of the strategic direction taken by the municipality. Specifically, 91% of respondents confirmed that they have observed tangible improvements and interventions across various sectors, including the road network, the coastal front, and public spaces. The work of Mayor Giorgos Nikolettos and the Municipal Council received notably positive feedback from the local population.

This survey reflects the ongoing adjustment phase of the newly consolidated municipality. The positive results serve as an assessment of the administrative direction established since the merger, highlighting that the community perceives a marked improvement in regional infrastructure and governance under the current leadership.
