APOEL football club sets historic season ticket record during centenary year

APOEL Football Club has officially surpassed its historical record for season ticket sales, reaching over 9,220 tickets as of September 25, 2026. The milestone coincides with the club's centenary anniversary, reflecting significant fan support and optimism regarding the team's future performance and potential new investment developments.

Demographic data released by the club highlights a strong engagement from younger generations, with 2,731 season ticket holders being under the age of 20, including 1,789 children under 13 and 942 aged 14-19. The largest segment remains the 20-64 age group with 6,072 holders, while 414 are over 65. Of the total, 5,964 represent renewals, accounting for 64.7% of the tickets, while 3,253 are new purchases. The South stand, known as the base of the 'Orange' supporters, is particularly active with approximately 3,500 tickets issued.

As the sale process remains ongoing, club officials noted that every additional ticket sold now serves to further extend the new record. This surge in support is seen by observers as a testament to fan loyalty and their hopes for the team's competitiveness in the league rankings.
