Dimitris Diamantakos joins Anagennisi Karditsas

Anagennisi Karditsas has officially announced the signing of 33-year-old striker Dimitris Diamantakos. This marks his return to the Greek football landscape after an 11-year absence, during which he played in several countries. Diamantakos has joined the squad led by coach Apostolos Charalambidis to compete in the Superbet League 2.

Born on March 5, 1993, the 1.84-meter forward previously played for Olympiacos, Panionios, Aris, and Ergotelis in Greece. His extensive international career includes stints at Karlsruhe, Bochum, and St. Pauli in Germany, Hajduk Split in Croatia, Ashdod in Israel, Kerala Blasters and East Bengal in India, and most recently APOEL in Cyprus. He has also represented the Greek national team throughout his career.

Following a period of training with the team in Karditsa, the formalization of this transfer serves as the club's 29th signing of the summer. The addition is considered a significant effort to strengthen the team's offensive line for the upcoming season.
