Ewandro Costa named MVP of the 4th round in Cyprus League

Omonia football player Ewandro Costa has been named the most valuable player (MVP) of the 4th round of the 2026/27 Cyprus League by Stoiximan. The award was determined by the SportsBase international performance index in collaboration with the Institute of Sports Analysis (INSA). Costa achieved an evaluation score of 220, narrowly beating AEL player Luther Singh, who finished second with a score of 219.

In addition to the MVP award, the selection process highlighted the performance of goalkeepers, naming AEL’s Stefanos Kapino as the best in his position for this round with an index score of 207. This recognition is part of an ongoing initiative by the Pancyprian Footballers Association in partnership with Unicars and Volkswagen, which evaluates players every matchday based on objective performance data and advanced statistical metrics.
