Nicosia police seek public assistance in locating two missing teenagers

The Nicosia Police have issued public appeals for information regarding the whereabouts of two teenagers who went missing in separate incidents in September 2026. The first individual is 16-year-old Sotiroula from Nicosia, who has been absent from her home in Aglantzia since September 20, 2026. She is described as having a slim build, standing approximately 1.60 meters tall, with long black hair and black eyes. When last seen, she was wearing long leopard-print trousers and a white short-sleeved t-shirt.

The second individual is 17-year-old Emiliyan Yordanov from Bulgaria, who has been missing from his residence in Nicosia since September 2, 2026. He is described as being approximately 1.67 meters tall with a regular build and short brown hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing grey shorts, a black short-sleeved t-shirt, and black athletic shoes.

Authorities have provided contact details for anyone with relevant information. Members of the public are urged to contact the Nicosia CID at 22-802222, their nearest police station, or the Citizens' Line at 1460. These missing person cases remain open, and investigations are ongoing as police continue to seek leads from the community to ensure the safety and return of both teenagers.
