Diplomatic deadlock following UN General Assembly meetings on Cyprus

During the UN General Assembly high-level week in New York, diplomatic efforts to advance the Cyprus settlement process remained stalled. The political landscape remains tense, with domestic calls for the convening of the National Council in Cyprus to discuss the way forward.
