Cyprus Football Association holds emergency general assembly

On the morning of September 26, 2026, the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) conducted an emergency general assembly via an online platform. The primary objective of the meeting was to formalize appointments to the organization's Board of Directors and to process the registration of new member clubs ahead of upcoming seasonal competitions.

During the proceedings, three new members were officially appointed to the CFA Board of Directors: Michalis Iordanous representing ALS Omonia 29M, Elenios Kouklis from Nea Salamina, and Kostas Hatzistyllis from Karmiotissa. Furthermore, in anticipation of the third division championship, the assembly approved the registration of three football clubs into the official CFA member registry: AEK Kellion, Alki 1948 Larnaca, and Xylophagou F.C.

These organizational changes come as the CFA prepares for its divisional league structures. No further administrative actions were reported following the conclusion of the assembly.
