Foreign national found dead at Pyla beach

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, a man was discovered unresponsive among the breakwater rocks at a beach in the tourist area of Pyla, Larnaca. The incident was reported around 12:00 p.m. Swimmers at the scene retrieved the individual from the water and administered first aid until an ambulance arrived to transport him to the Larnaca General Hospital, where his death was officially confirmed.
