Weather forecast for Cyprus predicts rain and storms

A low-pressure system is expected to affect the region starting September 27, 2026, bringing unstable weather conditions to Cyprus. Temperatures are forecast to reach 30 degrees Celsius in the interior and coastal areas, while dropping to 21 degrees in the mountains. During the night, temperatures will descend to 18 degrees in the interior, 20 degrees on the coast, and 11 degrees in the high mountains. Winds will generally blow from the southwest to the northwest, reaching intensities of 4 to 5 Beaufort, resulting in slightly rough sea conditions.

These weather patterns are expected to persist into Monday, marking a slight drop in temperatures as the low-pressure system moves across the area. Residents are advised to prepare for intermittent rain and potentially severe weather in some locations.
