Football Super Cup matches conclude in Limassol district

On September 26 and 27, 2026, two Super Cup matches took place in the Limassol district. On September 26, P&S Zakakiou faced APOP Neon Parekklisias FC 2025 at the Stelios Charis stadium. After a 1-1 draw in regulation time, with goals from Gerasimou and Kareklas, P&S Zakakiou secured the victory 7-6 following an intense penalty shootout. This event was dedicated to Chrysanthos Kalogirou, the founder of PAAOK, with his son Akis Kalogirou presenting the trophy to the winners.

Separately, on Sunday, September 27, APEP Pelendriou defeated AEM Mouttagiaka 4-1 at the Pelendriou community stadium. APEP’s Panagiotis Evripidou opened the scoring in the 21st minute, followed by an equalizer from AEM’s Alexandros Kasios in the 40th minute. In the second half, APEP dominated the game with two goals from Christos Irodotou and one from Markos Louka. The match was officiated by referee Sokratis Charalambous, assisted by Panagiotis Sofokleous and Giannis Kyriakou.
