Cyprus police issue multiple wanted notices for various criminal suspects

Cypriot authorities have released a series of public notices between September 28 and September 30, 2026, seeking assistance in locating individuals involved in various criminal investigations across the island. On September 28, police in Nicosia requested information regarding a man suspected of public nuisance and breach of the peace offenses committed on September 1, 2026. Separately, law enforcement in the Famagusta district issued alerts regarding an unidentified male wanted for serious criminal offenses, with reports including allegations of indecent assault.

On September 30, police launched a search for two Georgian nationals, 25-year-old David Mizoian and 36-year-old Ovo Amirkhanian. Authorities suspect the pair of involvement in seven counts of burglary and theft, conspiracy to commit a felony, participation in a criminal organization, and illegal stay within the Republic of Cyprus, with incidents occurring in the Limassol district between August 15 and September 12, 2026.

Police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the respective district investigative departments (TAE) in Nicosia, Famagusta, or Limassol, or to use the citizen hotline 1460. The investigations remain ongoing as authorities continue to process tips from the public to facilitate the apprehension of the wanted individuals.
