Fourth Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix held in Amathounta

The fourth stage of the Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix took place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in the Municipality of Amathounta, Limassol. The race, which featured routes of 10 and 5 kilometers for both men and women, started in front of the KEAN factory. Favorable weather conditions contributed to strong athletic performances, with new personal bests recorded in three out of four categories for the second consecutive year of this specific course.

Giorgos Tofi emerged as the winner of the Medochemie 10-kilometer men’s race, finishing with a time of 32 minutes and 35 seconds. Tofi’s victory follows his earlier successes this year in Larnaca, Strovolos, and Protaras. The event saw high participation from local and international runners, underscoring its status as the only road race in Cyprus officially recognized by World Athletics.

This event is part of the ongoing Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix series, which has gained significant popularity among the island's running community. The official recognition by the global governing body of athletics sets this series apart from other public road races held in the country.
