In a recent interview with The Times, Horner described Ferrari as the 'dream' team and the only organization he would consider joining without demanding an ownership stake. Vasseur, who has led Ferrari since January 2023, noted that such rumors have become a major distraction, accounting for roughly half of the questions he faces during race weekends, including the recent Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Christian Horner, aged 52, was ousted from Red Bull in July 2025 after a two-decade tenure that saw the team secure eight drivers’ world championships and six constructors’ titles. Although he returned to the Formula One paddock at the British Grand Prix earlier this year, his remarks about Ferrari have fueled intense industry gossip. Vasseur emphasized that these rumors do not foster a sense of 'perfect serenity' within the Ferrari camp, highlighting the challenging environment created by persistent media interest in his potential replacement.
