Recent reports of sexual abuse and school harassment in Achaia

In two separate incidents in the Achaia region of Greece, authorities have taken legal action following reports of sexual abuse. In the first case, a 50-year-old man from Achaia has been remanded to Tripoli prison after his three daughters and two nieces reported being sexually abused by him when they were minors, between the ages of 8 and 12. The victims filed the reports after reaching adulthood, and the Security Sub-Directorate of Patras is currently expanding the investigation as there are indications that other minors in the suspect's circle may also have been victimized.

In a separate incident, a 13-year-old middle school student in Western Achaia was arrested following accusations from a 12-year-old classmate. The girl alleged that the boy touched her inappropriately in the school restrooms. Following the complaint filed by the victim's mother, police arrested both the 13-year-old student and his mother, which is the standard procedure in such cases. Both investigations are ongoing as authorities work to clarify the facts surrounding these allegations.
