Giorgos Pamboridis criticizes internal DISY processes

Speaking on the "Alpha Enimerosi" program, Pamboridis denounced the influence of non-institutional factors at the party's headquarters, known as Pindaro, and expressed concern over the tight deadlines and the toxic climate of gossip surrounding potential candidates.

Addressing rumors about his own intentions, Pamboridis rejected claims that he is involved in backroom deals. He dismissed allegations that his potential candidacy would serve to either support Annita Dimitriou by siphoning votes from Averof Neofytou, or conversely, that he is conspiring with Neofytou to undermine Dimitriou. Pamboridis emphasized that his political decisions are guided by his conscience and accountability to voters, rather than by external pressure or "transactional politics.

Regarding the party's current status, Pamboridis warned that the leadership must shift toward substantive political discourse to maintain professional standards as the deadline for formal candidate nominations approaches. He firmly denied that his occasional private meetings with colleagues, such as a recent meal with Averof Neofytou, imply political collusion.
