Apollonion Private Hospital expands comprehensive heart center services

The Apollonion Private Hospital in Cyprus has highlighted the capabilities of its 'Heart Team', currently serving as the largest private center for cardiology and cardiac surgery on the island. The facility operates within the framework of the national healthcare system, Gesy, and offers comprehensive care ranging from prevention to highly specialized treatments for both adults and children.

The hospital's Cardiac Innovation Center, which was established in July 2021, acts as the core of these services. To date, the center has successfully performed more than 1,700 cardiac surgeries. The facility is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, pediatric and adult cardiac surgeons, and specialized nursing staff, all supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure.
