PSI Foundation presents video art exhibition in Nicosia's Old City

The PSI Foundation is launching its first exhibition in Nicosia, Cyprus, titled "Objects in the mirror may be closer than they appear." The satellite project, which integrates video art into the urban environment, will run from October 2 to November 2, 2026. The exhibition aims to move art beyond traditional gallery spaces, utilizing locations throughout the Old City to engage with the public in an everyday context.

Curated by Evagoria Dapola, the event features 14 works by nine international artists. The exhibition route begins at The Gym Bar on Onasagorou Street and extends along three streets of the historic district. Participating spaces include artist studios, architectural offices, former workshops, and various commercial windows and walls. By transforming these functional urban sites into temporary projection spaces, the project encourages residents and visitors to encounter artistic video works while navigating the city, creating an unconventional dialogue between art and the urban landscape.
