Cyprus University of Technology launches digital European Student Card

As of September 29, 2026, students at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) can obtain a free European Student Card directly via their mobile phones. Developed internally through a collaboration between the Erasmus Mobility Office and the EUt+ Coordinating Center, this digital service aims to streamline administrative processes and bolster the university's digitalization efforts.

The new card serves as an official proof of student status across Europe, applicable not only for participants in the Erasmus+ program but for the entire student body of CUT. Holders can utilize the card to access various services, including academic institutions, libraries, museums, and transportation networks that recognize the European student credentials. This initiative is designed to facilitate student mobility and simplify the recognition of student status beyond the borders of Cyprus.
