Iran's Revolutionary Guard publishes open letter to US voters

The document calls on U.S. voters to reject the policies of President Donald Trump, specifically criticizing his support for Israel and American involvement in foreign wars.

The IRGC asserts that peaceful coexistence between Iran and the U.S. is achievable if Washington alters its foreign policy. The letter accuses President Trump of concealing the supposedly peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program and misleading the public regarding the effectiveness of Iranian blockades on Persian Gulf oil exports. The document suggests that the current administration is pushing for conflict by suppressing information from the American electorate.

Hossein Mohebi, a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guard, held a press conference in Tehran to address the publication. He stated that while he does not expect the letter to influence the official stance of the Washington government five weeks before the elections, he hopes the message will resonate with individual voters. The IRGC contends that if the American people were better informed about current developments, they would likely reconsider their support for existing policies.
