Mother charged with attempted murder in South Carolina stabbing

On Saturday morning, September 26, 2026, 35-year-old Taylor Gosnell was arrested at her home in Spartanburg, South Carolina, following a welfare check by local authorities. Police discovered her six-year-old son and three-year-old daughter suffering from multiple severe knife wounds, totaling approximately 50 injuries across both children. The victims were transported for medical treatment, with officials noting that the son's injuries were particularly critical, posing a potential risk of finger amputation.
