Olympiakos Nicosia prepares for intensive schedule and 95th anniversary celebrations
Olympiakos Nicosia has resumed training as head coach Giorgos Kostis reports positive progress for players Zanos Savva and Dominik Prokop. Both athletes have recovered from previous injuries and are expected to be available for the upcoming league match against Aris on October 11.
The club faces a demanding 20-day stretch featuring five matches across all competitions. Following the October 11 fixture, the team will face Doxa in the cup on October 14, Omonoia on October 19, ENY on October 24, and Karmiotissa on October 30 at the Stelios Kyriakides stadium. Sappinen will be unavailable for the first match of this series. The current break in league play is being utilized to improve team cohesion following recent roster changes.
Beyond football matters, the club is preparing for a significant milestone. On October 29, Olympiakos will celebrate its 95th anniversary with a formal event at the Hilton, which will be attended by the President of the Republic.
