Mall of Cyprus and Mall of Engomi report significant profit growth for H1 2026
The Mall of Cyprus and the Mall of Engomi recorded a combined net profit of €7.2 million for the first half of 2026, marking a 33.6 percent increase compared to the same period in 2025. According to unaudited financial statements filed on September 29, 2026, total revenues reached €12.7 million. In July, shareholders received dividends totaling €7 million, reflecting the strong financial performance of both assets.
The Mall of Cyprus reported a profit after tax of €5.96 million, up from €4.75 million in the first half of 2025, driven by higher income from commercial space usage and reduced finance costs. Revenue from license fees and utility recharges also showed growth. Meanwhile, the Mall of Engomi nearly doubled its profitability, reaching €1.23 million. Management data indicates that foot traffic at the two locations increased by approximately 7 percent and 10 percent respectively, contributing to a total operational profit of €10.4 million across both entities compared to €8.6 million the previous year.
The financial results highlight a period of recovery and expansion in the commercial property sector, largely attributed to increased revenue from commercial space licensing. The figures exclude the individual turnover generated by the stores operating within the malls.
