Aris Limassol signs Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Folha

Aris Limassol has officially acquired Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Pereira Folha shortly before the deadline for signing free agents. The 24-year-old player, born on March 23, 2002, has signed a contract that runs until the end of the 2026-27 season. The agreement includes an option for the Limassol-based club to extend his stay for an additional three years.

Folha joins the team following his tenure at Al Wahda FC in the United Arab Emirates, where he played for the past two years. During his time in Abu Dhabi, he made 29 appearances, recorded one goal and one assist, and secured the U.A.E. League Cup. He is a product of the FC Porto academy, where he began training at the age of eight before progressing through the ranks to the first team. Having become a free agent at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, he is now set to continue his career in the Cypriot league.
