Aris Limassol signs Bernardo Folha in strategic squad overhaul

Aris Limassol has completed its summer transfer activity with the acquisition of 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Pereira Folha. Folha joins from Al Wahda FC on a contract valid until the end of the 2026-27 season, with an option for the club to extend for three additional years. Previously, he developed through FC Porto's academy, earning 14 first-team appearances and winning both the league and cup titles, while also recording 80 appearances for FC Porto B.

This signing marks the final move in a summer window defined by a significant strategic pivot for the club, focusing on young, high-potential players. Across eleven total signings, the club maintained an average age of just 21 years. Key young recruits include players such as El Alachi, Galiata, and others, though several, including Martinov, Cesar, and Pavirontidharjo, have been loaned out to Karmiotissa to gain match experience. The addition of the 24-year-old Folha adds a layer of experience to the midfield ranks managed by head coach Artiom Rajkov.
