BYD launches the Dolphin G DM-i super hybrid in Cyprus
On Tuesday, September 29, the automotive manufacturer BYD officially presented its new model, the BYD Dolphin G DM-i, to the Cypriot market during an evening event. The launch, attended by media representatives and influencers, showcased the vehicle as the first and only super hybrid in the B-hatchback segment specifically developed for the European market.
The BYD Dolphin G DM-i integrates the company's proprietary Super Hybrid DM-i (Dual Mode intelligence) technology. According to the manufacturer, the model aims to redefine the B-segment by combining the compact dimensions typical of its class with the practicality and utility expected of a family vehicle. The presentation event featured various interactive elements, including a light show and live performances, to mark the vehicle's arrival in Cyprus.
This move aligns with BYD's broader international expansion strategy, positioning the brand as a global leader in New Energy Vehicles. By introducing this specialized hybrid model, the company seeks to address local demand for more versatile, eco-friendly transport solutions. Further details regarding availability and specific market distribution are expected as the company continues its rollout in the European region.
