Stefanos Stefanou: Infrastructure problems and lack of space at the Special School of Nicosia

The General Secretary of AKEL, Stefanos Stefanou, visited the Special School of Nicosia on Friday, highlighting significant infrastructure challenges and severe space shortages. Teachers are currently forced to convert storage areas into classrooms, a situation Stefanou described as unacceptable. He urged the Ministry of Education to stop shifting responsibilities to school boards and parent associations, specifically citing delays in installing air conditioning and persistent staffing issues at the start of the academic year.
