Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre launches breast cancer awareness initiatives

The Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre has launched two specific initiatives to mark October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These projects aim to emphasize the importance of comprehensive care, scientific research, and human support for patients facing the disease.

The primary initiative involves a series of 31 short videos featuring staff members from various departments and specialties. Throughout October, these individuals will share their personal perspectives on the theme "To me, pink means..." via the center's Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. The testimonies highlight the role of medical expertise, diagnostic precision, and the ongoing support provided to women undergoing treatment.

Additionally, the center is establishing the "Wall of Hope – Celebrating Life." This physical space is designed to allow patients, visitors, and staff to share messages, wishes, and reflections, fostering a sense of community and support within the facility. These initiatives serve as part of the center’s broader commitment to awareness and holistic patient care.
