Volkswagen T-Roc leads European vehicle sales in August 2026

In August 2026, the Volkswagen T-Roc secured the top position in the European automotive market, recording 12,185 registrations and becoming the best-selling vehicle of the month. Other models from the brand also performed strongly, with the Volkswagen Golf ranking third with 11,752 units and the Tiguan placing in the top five with 11,223 units.

To further boost commercial performance in the Cypriot market, the local distributor Unicars has introduced a promotional offer for the T-Roc, providing a total benefit of up to €6,000. This incentive can be applied as either a direct price reduction or as additional complimentary equipment. The offer is valid for immediately available vehicles and includes a five-year factory warranty, though it is limited to a specific promotional period.

The T-Roc’s strong performance coincides with the market introduction of the second generation of the model. Having consistently been one of Volkswagen’s most successful commercial vehicles, these latest figures underscore its continued dominance within the competitive compact SUV segment.
