Giorgos Sampanis pays tribute to Giorgos Mazonakis at Katrakeio Theatre

On the evening of Friday, October 2, singer-songwriter Giorgos Sampanis held a concert at the Katrakeio Theatre in Nikaia, during which he paid an emotional tribute to the late artist Giorgos Mazonakis. Reflecting on their 18-year professional collaboration, Sampanis noted that they had created 22 songs together, characterizing the concert as a unique opportunity to honor their shared artistic legacy.

The tribute reached a highly emotional peak when Sampanis performed the song "Ores Mikres," which he composed with lyrics by Eleni Giannatsoulia. During the track, he stepped away from the microphone to perform a zeibekiko dance on stage, a gesture that was met with significant applause and appreciation from the audience.
