Cyprus national football teams prepare for upcoming international commitments

The Cyprus National Women's Football Team and the U-15 Boys' National Team have commenced their preparations for upcoming international fixtures. The women's team, led by coach Savvas Sofokleous, has called up 24 players for a training session scheduled for October 6 at the Pyrgos Community Stadium. This squad will await the official draw on November 3 to determine their opponents for the UEFA Nations League 2027.

Simultaneously, the U-15 Boys' National Team, under coach Michalis Ioannou, is preparing for a trip to Malta. They are scheduled to play friendly matches on October 13 and 15. The training sessions for the youth squad will take place on October 7 and 8 at the Agios Theodoros Community Stadium in Larnaca. Note that these training sessions are closed to the public, including parents and chaperones, as the national football program focuses on its strategic development and international tournament readiness.
