Cyprus Comic Con 2026 takes place in Nicosia

The 2026 edition of Cyprus Comic Con opened its doors at the State Fairgrounds in Nicosia on Saturday, October 3. The event serves as a major hub for pop culture enthusiasts, attracting attendees of all ages interested in gaming, cinema, cosplay, and collectibles. The venue features thematic pavilions, gaming tournaments, cosplay competitions, and live music, creating an environment that appeals to both dedicated fans and general visitors.

A significant highlight of this year's festival is the appearance of international actors including Callum Kerr and Vincent Regan, both known for their work in 'One Piece', as well as Clive Russell from 'Game of Thrones' and the Cypriot-born actor Jonny Coyne. Furthermore, the voice and performance capture cast of the popular video game 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33', featuring Kirsty Rider, is present to interact with fans. Collectors have shown high interest in trading cards, specifically Pokémon, and Funko Pop figures throughout the exhibition stalls.

This annual festival continues to emphasize community and creativity, showcasing a wide range of independent local businesses and artists. While the event is focused on entertainment, it functions as a prominent cultural gathering in Cyprus, bridging the gap between various fan bases and the general public. The exhibition provides a platform for both professional networking and recreational engagement.
