Apollon / Konomis: The new Cypriot bet

Leonidas Konomis is proving to be a highly successful signing for Apollon Limassol, demonstrating his quality both for the club and the Cyprus national team. The international defender recently delivered a solid performance and scored his first goal during the match against Armenia. His arrival aligns with Apollon's long-term transfer policy of investing in Cypriot talent, which has seen the acquisition of numerous local players since 2019. The club is optimistic about his contribution, viewing him as a key asset for the team's future.
