Financial dispute clarified between Anna Vissi and Nikos Karvelas

Following reports of a strained relationship and a financial dispute between singer Anna Vissi and composer Nikos Karvelas, their legal representatives have addressed the situation. Public interest peaked after Vissi's major concert at the OAKA stadium on September 26, 2026, which Karvelas did not attend. While rumors suggested a backstage argument and a legal conflict over 200,000 to 300,000 euros, the artist's lawyer, Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, confirmed that a financial matter existed but has already been settled.

Dimitrakopoulos denied allegations of any backstage confrontation or the filing of legal notices. He emphasized that the payment was completed by the production company prior to the concert and that Karvelas’s absence from the OAKA show was his own personal decision, not the result of an exclusion. Following these clarifications, Karvelas also issued a public statement to address inaccuracies regarding their professional and personal history, aiming to put the rumors of a rift to rest.
