PAOK intensifies training as injured players return to the pitch
PAOK has intensified its training sessions at the Nea Mesimvria facility as the team prepares to resume competitive action against Kalamata at the Toumba Stadium. Under the guidance of head coach Alessio Lisi, the squad is focusing on tactical drills, coordination exercises, and match simulations following a recent three-day break.
The team has received a significant boost regarding player availability. Pantelis Hatzidiakos and Tom Louché have fully recovered from their respective calf and muscle injuries, while Simon Banza has integrated into the daily training routine following his international commitments. Additionally, Kiril Despodov participated in part of the training session on Tuesday, October 6, for the first time this season, joining Kosta, Giannoulis, and Elustondo, who had also begun partial training earlier in the week.
While these players gradually return to full fitness, the coaching staff is emphasizing tactical discipline in both defense and attack. The players are scheduled to continue their preparation with a morning session on Wednesday, October 7. The return of these key personnel provides Lisi with crucial tactical options as the club looks toward its upcoming official matches.
