ELAM announces internal elections for Nicosia district

The electoral committee and the political council of the ELAM party in Cyprus have announced internal elections to be held for the Nicosia district. Following an evaluation of all nominations for the provincial councils submitted by party members, it was determined in accordance with Article 32 of the party's statute that a formal voting process is required.

The election is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 24, at the party's headquarters. Voting will be open from 09:00 to 18:00, with a one-hour break scheduled at 13:00. The ballots will be cast for members of the Provincial Council and elected members of the Central Committee, as confirmed by party official Sotiris Ioannou.

Separately, the party has set November 2 as the official deadline for the submission of candidacies for the leadership positions of ELAM. These proceedings represent the current stage of the party's internal structural reorganization and electoral timeline.
