CyIoDCG to host leadership and corporate governance event in Nicosia

The Cyprus Institute of Directors & Corporate Governance (CyIoDCG) has announced an upcoming professional event focused on leadership, responsible decision-making, and sound corporate governance. The session is scheduled for Friday, October 16, at 16:30, and will be held at the PwC Experience Center, located at 43 Demostheni Severi Avenue in Nicosia.

The event will feature a keynote address by Professor Max Nikias, a distinguished academic of Cypriot descent who serves as President Emeritus and Life Trustee at the University of Southern California. His presentation, titled "Guardians of the Enterprise: The Duties, Disciplines, and Judgment of the Effective Director," will explore the essential responsibilities of board members. Drawing inspiration from Plato’s classic inquiry, "Who guards the guardians?", the speech aims to provide insights into the principles that govern the effective execution of directorial duties and the ethical standards required for modern enterprise management.
