Government seeks deeper cooperation with ETEK for national development
On Tuesday evening, the Cypriot Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Evi Tsolaki, emphasized the government's commitment to strengthening collaboration with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK). Speaking in Nicosia at the organization’s 2023-2026 triennial review and awards ceremony held under the auspices of the President of the Republic, Tsolaki highlighted the chamber's vital role as a scientific and institutional partner for state modernization.
The minister stated that the government aims to establish an open and productive dialogue with the technical community to foster a new development model characterized by resilient infrastructure, innovation, and scientific expertise. By integrating the specialized knowledge of ETEK members into public policy, the state intends to translate current societal challenges into concrete, beneficial projects. This partnership is presented as a strategic necessity to boost the competitiveness of the Cypriot economy and ensure long-term progress.
