Glastonbury 2027 tickets sell out in 42 minutes
Tickets for the 2027 Glastonbury Festival, held at Worthy Farm in Somerset, sold out in just 42 minutes on Sunday morning. Thousands of fans joined an online queue starting at 09:00 BST to secure spots for the event, which runs from June 23 to June 27, 2027, following a fallow year in 2026. The general admission price was set at £408, including a £5 booking fee, marking a £29.50 increase from the 2025 event.
Organisers confirmed the sell-out on Instagram shortly after 09:40 BST, acknowledging that demand had significantly exceeded supply. Before the main ticket release, coach packages went on sale on the previous Thursday and were fully booked in under 30 minutes. While the official headliners for 2027 have not yet been announced, organizer Emily Eavis has expressed optimism regarding the progress of the festival preparations.
Those who were unsuccessful in the initial sale will have another opportunity to purchase tickets in the spring of 2027, when a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets is scheduled to take place.
