IKEA launches YXSTABY gaming furniture collection in Cyprus

IKEA has officially introduced the YXSTABY collection to the Cypriot market, a new line of home furniture developed in collaboration with Xbox. This initiative aims to integrate gaming equipment seamlessly into residential spaces by prioritizing ergonomics, functionality, and aesthetic compatibility with modern home decor.

The collection consists of nine distinct products, including an ergonomic armchair, a monitor stand, a TV stand, a side table with casters, and a laptop stand featuring dedicated storage. Smaller items inspired by gaming iconography are also included, such as a D-pad-shaped cushion, a joystick-inspired stool, and a specialized tray and stand for game controllers. The range was designed to maintain utility beyond gaming sessions.

This project represents a strategic partnership between the design teams at IKEA and Xbox. By bridging the gap between professional gaming needs and interior design, the companies intend to normalize gaming as an integral component of daily domestic life. No specific end dates or future expansions for the collection have been announced beyond its current availability in Cyprus.
