Medochemie receives top environmental honors in Cyprus

Pharmaceutical company Medochemie was honored with the 'Golden Cedar', the highest distinction at the 8th Cyprus Environmental Awards 2025, during a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace. The award was presented by the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, to acknowledge the firm for achieving the highest overall score among all nominees and categories in the competition.

In addition to the Golden Cedar, Medochemie was awarded a Gold Medal in the 'Primary Sector, Manufacturing and Industry' category. These accolades recognize the company's long-term environmental policy, which focuses on energy efficiency, sustainable natural resource utilization, and responsible waste management. The organization has notably increased its investments in clean energy and facility upgrades in recent years, with a reported transition to utilizing only renewable electricity sources for its operations as of October 1, 2025.
