Radio Arvyla team departs from ANT1 after thirty years

On October 7, 2026, the production team behind the popular Greek show "Radio Arvyla" officially announced their decision not to renew their partnership with the ANT1 television network. This conclusion follows the expiration of their existing contract at the end of June 2026, ending a collaboration that had spanned nearly three decades.

The team, led by Antonis Kanakis through his production company Tony Productions, stated that the departure is motivated exclusively by "reasons of principle." In their formal public announcement, they expressed gratitude to the ANT1 group and the staff with whom they worked closely throughout their long tenure, wishing the network success in its future endeavors.

While the statement highlights the long-standing relationship between the parties, it provides no specific details regarding the nature of the disagreements or the "reasons of principle" cited for the separation. As of now, no further information has been disclosed by either the production team or the network regarding the future of the show or any potential new broadcast arrangements.
