Nicolas Papadopoulos supports the PASYKAF annual charity drive
On October 7, 2026, the President of the Democratic Party (DIKO), Nicolas Papadopoulos, officially inaugurated the annual charity drive of the Pancyprian Association of Cancer Patients and Friends (PASYKAF). The event highlights the organization's ongoing efforts to support cancer patients and their families across Cyprus.
During the inauguration, Papadopoulos praised PASYKAF for its contribution to public health through education, prevention strategies, and the promotion of social solidarity. He emphasized the urgency of the cause by noting that one in three families in Cyprus is currently affected by cancer, making the association’s support an essential lifeline. The DIKO leader reaffirmed his party's long-standing commitment to the organization’s mission.
Beyond financial contributions, the initiative serves as a call for broader social engagement. Papadopoulos stated that participating in the drive is a symbolic act of unity in the struggle against cancer, urging the public to show their solidarity with those facing the disease.
