Cyprus police issue search notices for several missing persons

Cypriot authorities have issued public appeals for information regarding several individuals who went missing between October 7 and October 9, 2026. The missing persons include Venelina Ganeva (42, Deryneia), Emiliyan Yordanov (17, Nicosia), Sotiroulla Oikonomidou (16, Nicosia), Ayse Radzep Ahmet (18, Nicosia), Dinko Asenov Goranov (23, Famagusta district), and 13-year-old Nikol Christodoulou (Nicosia).

Detailed physical descriptions and contact numbers have been provided for each case. The police have directed inquiries for the Nicosia disappearances to the Nicosia CID (22802222), for the Deryneia and Famagusta cases to their respective local stations (23803273 and 23803040), or to the Citizen's Line at 1460. These cases involve individuals of varying ages and backgrounds, with most missing from their primary residences.

The police investigations are currently ongoing, with authorities urging anyone possessing relevant information to come forward.
