Cyprus participates in the 78th Frankfurt Book Fair

Cyprus is officially represented at the 78th Frankfurt Book Fair, held from October 7 to October 11, 2026. This major global literary event gathers participants from over 100 countries and is expected to attract more than 230,000 visitors, hosting approximately 4,000 exhibitors and 7,000 members of the international press.

The Cypriot pavilion is located at Hall 3.1, Stand C83. The participation is a collaborative effort between the Department of Contemporary Culture of the Deputy Ministry of Culture and the Cyprus Publishers Association. The primary objective of this presence is to promote Cypriot literary works, facilitate translation initiatives, and establish new professional partnerships with international publishers and industry stakeholders.

Throughout the duration of the event, delegates will conduct a series of meetings aimed at increasing the global visibility of Cyprus's publishing industry. The focus remains on networking and exploring opportunities for future international cooperation to advance the reach of local authors.
